というのが元ネタだった。"We the people"というホワイトハウスの企画があって、質問者がある程度まとまったらそれに応えるというもの。で

さて、このホワイトハウスの声明に対して、さっそく反応したのが我らが WWN("Weekly World News"）。

とかいつものノリです。
念のため付け加えると、これは日本の週刊誌やスポーツ新聞に時々現れる「ニュース誌」で、有名なタブロイド紙。「虚構新聞」を遙かにくだらなくしたような感じですが、創刊が1979年という老舗です。（もちろん、当時は紙媒体）
ちなみにGoogleBooksを探してみたら、1981年の記事に
「エイリアンのテレパスが、地球人へのコンタクトを図っている！」とかありました。
